A compendium of craft masquerading as art, art masquerading as craft, and craft extending its middle finger.

We at Extreme Craft (the royal "we", mind you), eternal mac geeks that we are, can't get behind Apple's "Dashboard" feature. For those PC-ers out there, Dashboard features a bunch of little applications that are available, in principle, with the flick of a button. However, even on a fast G5 computer, they seem to take forever...sometimes it's just easier to look something up on the internet. Dashboard just became worthwhile, though, with Mariposa Productions' "MacGyverisms". MacGyverisms presents the wit, wisdom, and craftivity of the ultimate extreme crafter in a lovely, bite-sized package. Need to know how to escape the hands of viscious kidnappers from Belorus with only a bobby pin, a juice box, and a bottle of aspirin? Dial up the ol' MacGyverisms, and see if you can glean some inspirado.

I can't wait to show this to my husband. He's a freak about MacGyver. He actually bought me a 'MacGyver Survival Kit' off of Ebay for Christmas. The kit consisted of a paperclip, cap from a ballpoint pen and a rubber band.

I love visiting your blog and was happy to see you made it out to my neck of the woods for the cermanic convention. Portland's a great town!
