Knit Motorcycle!

Theresa Honeywell is tougher than you. You're just going to have to accept that fact. She lives in Pennsylvania, where knits, cooks, embroiders, and otherwise kicks the everloving shit outta the domestic arts. Theresa has an eye for the masculine arts, knitting tool belts, jackhammers....and yes, a MOTORCYCLE! The knitted motorcycle pictured is on view through April 30th at the Georgia Museum of Art in Athens, Georgia, along with some of the other lovingly created objects in this FLICKR photo album, brought to you exclusively by your pals at Extreme Craft. Honeywell also embroiders tattoos, which serve as heirloom-quality samplers that will last for generations, long after that celtic cross has been lasered off your ass.

I am so happy I found your site. It appears we have more in common than knitting! I'll let you know when I complete the "world renound" triple lindee patern!
Great post.
Take a look at this awesome manuals site :

For many, off the shelf bikes just won't cut it and a custom bike is the only way to go. For years, the idea of having a
custom bike was out of the range of most budgets and most custom motorcycle kits were poor quality. However with the rise
in interest in customized choppers, the custom motor cycle kit has become a great option for those who won't settle for
any thing but a custom bike but either can't afford a Jessie James or desire a more intimate connection with their bike.
A few years ago, it was difficult to find synthetic motor oils, and equally difficult to find someone who admitted to using them. Nowadays, however, you can find synthetic motor oils on the shelves of Wal-Mart, and other retailers, and the number of people turning to synthetic motor oils, particularly in light of the recent events affecting fuel prices, has risen greatly.
So why do people use synthetic motor oils rather than sticking with the old petroleum based stand-bys which are admittedly cheaper?
1. Let's start with the cost per quart issue. Synthetic motor oils ARE more expensive at purchase. However, these oils last longer, requiring fewer oil changes. As a synthetic motor oil outlasts several changes of petroleum based lubricants, the ultimate out-of-pocket cost of the lubricant is less. This cost savings becomes even greater if you have someone else change your oil for you rather than doing it yourself!
When you're buying a motorcycle you need to know about bikes, but you also need to know about how to buy a bike, and that has nothing to do with engines and manufacturing. One important detail where a lot of people that purchase motorcycles go wrong is getting the right loan.
I knit while motorcycling. Ah, yes, I am the co-rider. I use circular needles, put the yarn ball in a little side pocket, and stuff the knitted results up my left sleeve. Recently, We were cold while on a 1900 mile week trip around New England, and I knitted a triangle insert for my jacket to keep my neck warmer!
My husband is an ironbutt and I love to ride and knit.
