Giant Malaysian Teapot

BBC News carried a story yesterday about a sect in Malaysia called Sky Kingdom. They base their beliefs around the icon of the tepot, which they believe symbolizes the healing purity of water. This upset the local population, though, so about 30 armed men dressed in arab robes attacked the giant teapot with molotov cocktails. Little harm was done to the teapot, however, because it is made of concrete. Haters, beware! Don't mess with ceramics (or tea lovers, for that matter).

I think it is a crying shame that some people can be threatened by a few concrete structures.

I say the Sky Kingdom crushing akin to the demolition of the Bamiyan Buddha by Taliban

I have a related blog here Islam: Persecution of Sky Kingdom II.
